Psychological assessment of students (a sometimes fretful concept for parents) has undergone some truly amazing advances over the years. What used to be based largely in theory has been refined to objective, empirically-based instruments that can isolate your student’s concerns and provide guidance toward appropriate interventions. I strive to make the evaluation process a relaxed and enjoyable experience for all ages and have students depart testing sessions with increased self-esteem. My reports are written for parents and teachers in plain language and all test results are explained at a detailed interpretive conference.

For high school and college students, I developed the Life Launch Assessment. This extensive overview of abilities and attributes has been very helpful for college and career selection. It also provides guidance regarding what students need work on to become successful, independent adults. Follow-up coaching sessions are available to enhance development.
