The Life Launch Assessment involves at least two testing sessions of two to three hours each. These are administered here in my Collegeville, PA office but I will make accommodations for school visits to students with special needs in the Philadelphia area. Some materials will be sent home for completion while others require on-line evaluation through a dedicated account established for the student. Assessments include a full developmental intake, all testing areas listed, a detailed interpretive conference and follow-up consultation/referral assistance.
Assessments are not insurance reimbursable but may be deducted as an education expense pending consultation with your tax advisor.
For students who have a Learning Support IEP or Chapter 504 service plan, the Life Launch Assessment can be written in accordance with ADA-format regulations. This will enable the student to secure accommodations (extended testing time, distraction-reduced setting, exam reader, etc.) for taking college boazrd exams and present evidence for post-secondary ADA accommodations eligibility.
